About Pete’s Tasty Treats
Here at Pete’s Tasty Treats we make cakes, cupcakes and slices to order for our wonderful community. We are a small business owned and run by people living with disability. All of our treats are homemade and fresh to order. We love to create new ideas and would love to work with you on your upcoming celebrations.
About Me
I am Pete, business owner and head baker at just 18 years old. I love to cook, it makes me happy and enables me to have a job, ‘despite my disabilities I too can have a job like anyone else’. Pete is very excited to have own business and that people want to try my food. Baking as it makes me happy and lets me and my team explore our creativity in making cakes, cupcakes and slices that people enjoy. I am supported in my business by family, friends and my mentors. I bake to order. I currently run my business Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on other days as needed. In my spare time I play basketball for the Special Olympics and in 2022 was selected for Team SA to participate at Nationals in Launceston in October 2022. I also love to travel, explore and taste foods from around the world.
